This fellowship has been so much more valuable to me beyond just its monetary contribution.
Not only was I able to form a community of other students who share my passions, but having the stipend allowed me the financial security to take time off work if I needed for my health or schoolwork deadlines that I wouldn’t have been able to do otherwise. Working in child welfare is a hard job, but the support and comradery that I found through this program is invaluable and helps make the work we do possible.
